Description
Adopted in 1969, the flag of the Northwest Territories reflects the land and resources of this vast northern region. The blue side panels represent abundant lakes and rivers, while the white center symbolizes ice and snow. The shield in the middle depicts the division between the Arctic and southern lands, with a white fox for the fur trade and green and red fields for agriculture and minerals.
Our flags are made in Quebec City, available in weather-resistant 210 denier nylon or lightweight polyester, suitable for a variety of contexts. Each model features high-quality printing with a mirror effect on the reverse.
